Joan Anglim BA., B.Sc, MIASLT

Joan graduated from UCD with B.A (Honours)  Psychology in 1992. She then completed a four year undergraduate degree course at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown and graduated with B.Sc (Honours) in Clinical Speech and Language Therapy 1997.

Since then Joan has worked full time as a Speech & Language Therapist in Highly Specialist roles in Ireland and the UK. She has extensive experience delivering quality speech and language therapy services to both adults and children.  She has worked in a variety of clinical  settings and has significant experience in multi disciplinary team working and collaborative working practice. She is a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.

Joan is committed to continuing professional development and continually develops her clinical skills and knowledge.  She has completed numerous specialist courses including; The Derbyshire Language Scheme, Makaton, Cued Articulation, Clinical Appraisal, Care Aims, Management of Aggressive Behaviour, Collaborative Work Practice (University of Aberdeen), Allied Health Professions Leadership Programme (Scottish Executive), ELKLAN training and is also qualified to manage Dysphagia.
