Following initial assessment we provide a detailed report including guidelines for intervention.

Standardised assessments are used and results clearly stated in the report.

If therapy is required we offer regular treatment at the level of intensity required to best treat the difficulty.

TRAINING

We also provide tailor made-training packages.

These include:

• Communication and Supported Conversation Training for carers and family members for clients post-stroke.
• Information sessions for school staff and parents around speech and language development , developing language skills and creating an enriched communicative environments for children.
• Swallowing and assisted feeding workshops for family, carers and residential care services for people with swallowing disorders.
• Communication Training for medical and/or administrative staff which aims to improve attendee’s skills in interacting and dealing with clients who present with communication difficulties.
